Roll instead of fold for soft items
Rolling works best for t-shirts, underwear, and casual pants. Stack rolls vertically in packing cubes so you can pull one item without unpacking the whole bag. For structured pieces, blazers, dress shirts, use the bundle wrap method or fold flat on top. Avoid over-stuffing cubes; compressed fabric still needs air to breathe and will wrinkle if packed too tight.
- Cap casual tops at one per two days if laundry is available.
- Choose one neutral bottom that pairs with every top.
- Merino wool layers dry overnight and resist odor.
